01. my yard
my yard was a reading room installed at Abrons Arts Center, conceived as a quiet architecture within the gallery. Using the breeze-block works to frame the perimeter, turf flooring to suggest ground, and simple seating, the space invited visitors to slow down and read. The selection of texts—ranging from Poetics of Relation to Beloved—outlined the constellation of thought shaping my practice: relation, opacity, belonging, and place. Part library, part landscape, My Yard transformed the gallery into a site of gathering and study, asking how reading together might also become a form of building, listening, and shared grounding.
